Suspect arrested after flushing valves taken from multiple restaurants

An arrest has been made after flushing valves were stolen from multiple Columbus restaurants.

The spree of thefts involve a male subject walking into fast food chains, including Taco Bell, Burger King and Starbucks, and taking the flushing valves off of the toilets. At least five Taco Bell restaurants, with two in Columbus and three in Alabama, were targeted, according to a Taco Bell management source who wanted to remain anonymous.

Sources also confirm the suspect hit multiple other restaurants in East Alabama, including Zaxby’s.
