UPMC cuts ribbon on outpatient center in Erie

UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh added a new addition to their hub of pediatric care here in Erie.

On Thursday morning, they cut the ribbon on UPMC Children’s Rehabilitation Therapies, which is an outpatient center providing physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy for children of all ages.

It is located right beside the UPMC Children’s second specialty care center, making it more convenient for local children and their families.

“Don’t have to drive down to Pittsburgh, so it’s going to be great that we’re going to receive that level of care here in town, and it’s going to be less stress on him overall. And it’s going to be good for the other families too,” said Michael Arment, father of an outpatient.
