POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 38-year-old Lakeland woman is behind bars this week following a credit card investigation that spanned local law enforcement agencies. Katherine Francisco was taken into custody on Thursday afternoon after deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office caught up with her at a residence on Leelon Road in northeast Lakeland.
The arrest stemmed from an active warrant filed by the Lakeland Police Department. Investigators with the city’s police force allege that Francisco used another individual’s credit card without authorization.
