DeSoto County District Attorney Matthew Barton said his office filed a petition asking a court to deny bond for Taderius Young, 22, of Horn Lake, after a shooting earlier this week at Discount Market at 3340 Goodman Road.
Barton said Young was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault in connection with the shooting. He is being held at the DeSoto County Adult Detention Center, the DA’s office said.
The DA’s office said Young also faces an auto burglary charge from a separate incident that was secured by a secret indictment in February.
