(FOX40.COM) — A new chapter in hands-on education is taking shape in the Central Valley, as Modesto High School unveils a state-of-the-art agricultural farm designed to educate students about careers and practices in one of the region’s most vital industries.
The new facility, located at 2573 Bangs Ave, spans more than 13,000 square feet and was built for $5.5 million. School leaders say it will serve as a hub for students to gain real-world experience in fields such as plant and animal science.
