Irondequoit, N.Y. — Police are searching for suspects after a shooting Thursday night in Irondequoit near Lake Ontario.
The Irondequoit Police Department responded around 8:45 p.m. for the report of 12 people fighting and a person shot at the corner of St. Paul Boulevard and Second Street, according to Chief Scott Peters. Nobody was at the scene when officers arrived, but a vehicle carrying the victim, a 50-year-old Rochester man, flagged down a responding officer on St. Paul Street not far from Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester.
Peters said the officer rendered first aid before calling an ambulance, which took the victim, who was shot in the upper body, to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries…
