(KRON) — Petaluma police said an on-duty department volunteer happened to be driving by on North McDowell Boulevard Wednesday morning when they witnessed a man on an e-scooter crash into a pedestrian on a sidewalk.
The incident happened at 9:54 a.m. and police said the 61-year-old suspect was traveling without a helmet on the wrong side of the roadway when the collision occurred.
