One of Houston’s newest barbecue restaurants is setting its sights on the suburbs. After less than two years in business, Levant BBQ is planning to open a second location in Sugar Land.
The uptown eatery, known for its Mediterranean-style barbecue bites, filed a permit to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to open up in Sugar Land Town Square at 15903 City Walk. This is the space that once held one of bellagreen’s locations—and about 30 minutes away from its Houston location at 5884 Westheimer Rd.
According to the permit registration details, construction for the estimated $100,000 renovation is set to be completed between June and September, but that could change. Levant BBQ hasn’t officially announced a second location or listed the Sugar Land space on its website. Chron has reached out to the restaurant’s team for more details.
