PLATTE COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Platte County Prosecuting Attorney’s race saw another shake-up Thursday as one candidate withdrew his name from the race and another entered.
The Platte County Board of Elections confirmed that Sen. Tony Luetkemeyer is now running to become Platte County’s chief prosecutor.
Luetkemeyer entered the race Thursday as first assistant prosecutor Mark Gibson withdrew from the race, just over a week after he entered the race when his boss, Eric Zahnd, announced that he would leave the race.
