Several Kansas City restaurants plan to add automatic gratuity during World Cup

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City restaurants plan to add automatic gratuity charges this summer as the city prepares to host World Cup visitors from countries where tipping is not customary.

The Missouri Restaurant Association recommends businesses add an automatic 20% gratuity charge. The recommendation is not a mandate, and business owners have discretion in the area.
