PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) — Two men were arrested Monday evening after they allegedly assaulted a passenger at the Rose Quarter Max Station. According to court documents, the two men were offered $20 by another passenger to commit the assault.
Court documents say two men, identified as Dennis Underwood and Graham Capps, got into a fight on a MAX train on Monday. A security officer responded to a report of an assault that indicated Underwood had assaulted Capps.
After this assault, court documents say Capps approached two homeless men at the Rose Quarter Max Station and offered them $20 to beat up Underwood. The security officer reportedly overheard one of the homeless men say, “20 bucks is 20 bucks,” and saw both men follow Underwood across North Interstate, where a fight broke out…
