Brush fires, illegal dumping, homelessness: A community’s plea to address negative effects

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A frightening brush fire in southeast Bakersfield this week didn’t leave neighbors surprised.

“It’s a frustration for all of us right here. This used to be clean, nice, but now it’s really bad,” said Jose Delgado, a resident in the area.
