BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Drivers should plan ahead of their driving commutes next week as several roads around the City of Bakersfield will be closed for construction and maintenance.
There will be overnight lane closures on northbound Hwy 99 from Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16, as the construction crews install new reinforced pavement to the road.

The number three lane, which is the farthest lane to the right, next to the road’s shoulder, will be closed starting at 9 p.m. The number two lane will also close at 11 p.m. Both lanes are expected to re-open by 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
Wible Road will be closed in both directions between Brundage Lane and Belle Terrace on Thursday, April 16 through Friday, April 17. The closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. through 4 p.m. on both days as crews pave, inspect and adjust the roads…
