An East Boston man was arrested last week on several warrants charging him with theft in connection with a scheme where police say he offered sports tickets at reduced prices, but then never provided tickets after receiving payment.
Robert Cheevers, 57, was arrested on April 4 on a charge of larceny over $1,200 by a single scheme, Leicester Police said in a statement posted to Facebook. At the time, Cheevers was the subject of a separate warrant issued out of Newburyport District Court charging him with the same crime.
Cheevers was also wanted on a warrant issued in Clark County, Nevada, charging him with burglary, felony theft and insufficient funds, according to police…
