Two teens were arrested at Parkchester Subway Station in The Bronx on Wednesday, April 8, for subway surfing police said.
Police said that on Wednesday, April 8, officers from the TARU Transit Drone Team were conducting a joint subway surfing operation in The Bronx with members of the Transit Bureau Anti-Terrorism Unit and Transit District 12.at around 7.37 p.m. when a drone operator observed two males “hanging off the rear of a northbound 6 express train” as it was traveling between the Hunts Point Avenue and Parkchester subway stations in the confines of the 41st Precinct/Transit District 12.
“Upon arrival at the Parkchester subway station, officers canvassed the area and placed a 14-year-old male and a 13-year-old male in custody,” a police spokesperson said. “As the officers were conducting an investigation, the 14-year-old male was found to be in possession of a modified MTA door key.”…
