CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Dylann Roof was sentenced on 13 state counts of murder and attempted murder on April 10, 2017, for committing the 2015 Mother Emanuel shooting.
The 23-year-old was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on each of the nine murder counts and a consecutive 30-year prison term on each of the three attempted murder counts.
