SULLIVAN’S ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie are waiving fees on Saturday to commemorate the 165th anniversary of the opening shots of the American Civil War.
Guests can visit the forts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to browse history and enjoy programs being offered during the special event.
