On April 9 at 7:40 p.m. reports came in about a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a truck at the intersection of Hopson Hill Road and Haskell Hill Road in Amity Township.
Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook stated that the motorcyclist from Union City, Shawn McClelland 22, had been transferred to UPMC Hamot. McClelland was later pronounced deceased at 9:11 p.m.
