Buddy Holly’s Car, Rare Classics To Feature At Auburn Auction

AUBURN — The Auburn Spring Auction will return Friday, April 24-Saturday, April 25 at Kruse Auctions headquarters, showcasing a 250-vehicle lineup that blends pre-war classics, muscle cars and modern collectibles, with a 1958 Chevrolet Impala once owned by Buddy Holly.

Organizers say the event will highlight several no-reserve estate collections, including those from Dane Miller, Dr. Bill Jackson and Oscar Roberts, offering bidders a wide range of historically significant automobiles. Among the top attractions is a numbers-matching 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster from the Miller collection, expected to draw significant attention from collectors.
