MADISON, Ala. — Residents will soon fan out across Madison roadways for Spring Madison Clean Up Day, an annual effort aimed at picking up litter and improving the appearance of the community.
The city is inviting volunteers and groups to take part in the cleanup event, which will focus on major roads, neighborhoods and nearby creek areas. Officials say the goal is to make the city cleaner, greener and more welcoming for residents.
