KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Several events are set to impact drivers in East Tennessee this weekend, from the Orange and White game to the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon. 6 News anchor Bo Williams is sharing what drivers need to know before hitting the roads this weekend.
The Dogwood Arts Chalk Walk is on April 11 and is expected to draw thousands of people to downtown. It will begin at 8 a.m. and run through 5 p.m. in Market Square. Also on Saturday, the Orange and White Game will take place at Neyland Stadium. Phillip Fulmer Way will be closed from Cumberland Avenue to Lake Loudoun Boulevard at 5 a.m., along with Peyton Manning Pass for the event.
Also in Gatlinburg, the 2026 Mountain Man Memorial March on Saturday will cause traffic impacts in and around the downtown Gatlinburg area. Lane closures on the route are expected between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., and brief delays should be expected. Drivers are urged to remain alert and exercise caution for pedestrian activity along East Parkway throughout the event, which will extend into the afternoon.
