‘Deflection of accountability’: Nashville property owners push back on assessor’s comments

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Property owners facing high taxes are calling out the Davidson County Property Assessor for what they call a lack of accountability.

This comes as they say the assessor made comments shifting the blame to the Mayor and Metro Council, instead of acknowledging her office’s part in the ordeal.
