WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. — 20-minutes west of Murfreesboro and just one county over, authorities have been working hard on a case that took about 12-months to accomplish. Detectives with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit have arrested a suspected drug dealer accused of targeting teenagers across the county.
Following a nearly year-long investigation, authorities took 24-year-old Hayden Humphrey into custody on a 45-count indictment. Investigators say Humphrey had been selling narcotics to high school students throughout Williamson County, with some activity allegedly dating back several years.
Law enforcement officials emphasized the seriousness of the case, stating that individuals who target minors will be aggressively pursued.
