A portion of Interstate 80 in San Francisco will shut down for an estimated 55 hours starting April 17 while Caltrans continues work on a rehabilitation project to improve safety on the freeway.
Caltrans said motorists are strongly urged to stay away from the closure area. Significant congestion and travel delays are also expected across SoMa, Mission Bay, and surrounding areas.
