SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — There was a significant power outage in the area of Lake Merced and Stonestown Mall Friday afternoon, according to the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management. SFDEM initially said that PG&E is investigating the outage and that the estimated time of restoration is 1:45 p.m.
However, as of 12:51 p.m., SFDEM said power had been restored.

PG&E’s outage map shows the outage spread over a large area around Lake Merced, Stonestown, and San Francisco State University. The outage is unplanned, according to the utility.
About 1,614 customers are impacted.
