ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Seven people, including two children, were displaced after a fire damaged two homes in Royal Palm Beach late Thursday night.
American Red Cross volunteers with the Disaster Action Team from the Palm Beach Treasure Coast Chapter responded to the scene on Piper Ridge to assist those affected. The fire impacted two neighboring homes, leaving five adults and two children in need of emergency support.

The disaster-trained volunteers worked to coordinate immediate assistance for the displaced residents, including emergency financial help, health and mental health services, and one-on-one support to connect them with available recovery resources.
