A ribbon-cutting was held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 on the new River Road Training Site Readiness Center on Route 9, south of New Castle.
The more than 44-thousand square foot facility will be the home of the 153rd Military Police Company and the 302nd Quartermasters Platoon.
The state-of-the-art facility ” represents a significant investment in our soldiers, our future, and our overall mission,” said Adjutant General of the Delaware National Guard Major General James Benson. “This large scale construction project ensures our soldiers have the space, resources, and environment necessary to train effectively, and prepare for complex missions ahead.”…
