Public meeting on future of City-Brooks Community Park set for June

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A public meeting about the future of City-Brooks Community Park has shifted from April to June.

According to BREC, there has been significant community interest, as it continues to receive feedback from residents through a public survey that remains open until April 17. The design team and project stakeholders are reviewing input and refining early concepts for the plan.

“Currently, the design team is focused on listening and learning from the community,” said Angela Harms, BREC director of project development. “The feedback we’re receiving is incredibly valuable, and taking additional time now will help ensure the concepts we bring forward reflect the priorities of our community.”
