Docs: Woman arrested in fatal St. Patrick’s Day crash tested nearly twice legal limit

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The 22-year-old woman who was arrested and charged in a fatal St. Patrick’s Day crash that killed a teenager was driving more than 100 mph shortly before the fatal collision and had a blood alcohol content of nearly twice the legal limit, according to court documents obtained by KTSM.

El Paso Police arrested Andrea Fernanda Soria, 22, on Thursday, April 9 on a warrant for intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle with a $150,000 bond. She was arrested in connection with a March 17 crash along Interstate 10 near Lee Trevino that killed 15-year-old Sophia Ramirez.
