Man charged after meth mailed to Lincoln, steroids lab found in Waverly home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — A former social services worker is accused of bringing drugs to work and making steroids out of his Waverly home.

Court records show 44-year-old Kenneth Ruben faces five felony charges relating to meth, cocaine and two other substances. At his arraignment Friday, a judge set his bond at 10% of $750,000.

Authorities were made aware of two packages coming to a Lincoln post office destined for Ruben’s home on Thursday. They watched Ruben pick up the packages, according to an arrest affidavit, before leaving for work…
