The Badgers have started the transfer portal fairly quietly. There hasn’t been much news about who Greg Gard is chasing, but with all the needs, Wisconsin will be active. One piece of news came out about a player Wisconsin is inquiring about: Ice Emery from Cleveland State.
Emery is an in-state high school player from Appleton, Wisconsin. He may have only one year of eligibility left and has played for four different college programs. Wherever he ends up next, it will be his fourth school. Starting at Merrimack, followed by Western Carolina for his sophomore year, he finally played last season for Cleveland State. He also spent a season at a community college.
He’s intriguing because he’s garnering high major offers, but it’s hard to see exactly how he fits in for the Badgers…
