OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A local food truck owner is asking for the community’s help after someone stole equipment he needs to run his business.
Andre Lewis, owner of Mr. Smoke Signals BBQ and Smoked Meats, said a man stole his generator Monday morning. Lewis captured the theft on surveillance video and shared it on social media, hoping it helps police identify the suspect.

Lewis said a noise outside his home drew his attention around 11:15 a.m. Monday. When he looked out his window, he saw a man taking his generator.
“When I come to the picture window and I see a guy shoving my generator in his car, I’m like, I know that’s not my generator,” Lewis said…
