Sarah Abdelhadi will step into a new leadership role this summer as principal of Ridge Central School in Chicago Ridge School District 127.5, following a leadership transition earlier this school year.
The school board accepted the resignation of Principal Katy King in December, creating the vacancy Abdelhadi will fill when she begins in July.
Abdelhadi, currently assistant principal at Columbus Manor School in Oak Lawn, said she is honored to join a district recognized for its strong student body, dedicated staff and supportive community.
“This will be my first role in District 127.5, and I am truly honored to join a district known for its strong student body, dedicated staff, supportive community and exceptional leadership,” Abdelhadi said. “I look forward to collaborating with colleagues and continuing to build upon the strong foundation already established at Ridge Central.”…
