Storm threat returns late Sunday

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – Feeling more like summer with storm chances favoring the northwest portion of the ArkLaTex through next week.

STORMS RETURN LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON

  • Scattered storms arrive from the west late Sunday afternoon and continue into Sunday night
  • A few of them could turn strong to severe
  • Small hail and strong wind gusts will be the main threats

ISOLATED STORMS CONTINUE THROUGHOUT NEXT WEEK

  • A few isolated storms are possible each day from Monday thru Thursday.
  • Highest storm coverage northwest of I-30
  • Severe weather threats are possible each day northwest of the I-30 corridor
  • Southern portions of ArkLaTex could be completely dry throughout the next week.
