Route 66 visitor center hosting first free concert this weekend

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – For the first time the Route 66 Visitor Center will be hosting its first free concert.

Researchers are training seedlings to better handle hot and dry conditions

Just last week Albuquerque leaders reopened the tourist facility promising it’s here to stay after it has been closed for years. This summer the city and Bernalillo County are hosting a concert series every weekend with food trucks and music lineups.

Admission to the concerts are free. The first show will feature local New Mexico artists starting 12 pm this Saturday, April 11…
