BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The 2026 Crime Victims’ Rights March will take place April 23, according to the Kern County District Attorney’s Office.
The event is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., on Thursday, April 23 at the Victims’ Plaza outside the DA’s office at 1215 Truxtun Ave., according to officials.

The event will honor victims commemorated through the Victims of Violent Crime Memorial, which was unveiled in November 2025. The memorial holds more than 4,400 names of those who died in violent crimes in Kern County, according to the District Attorney’s office.
DA Cynthia Zimmer will add the names of victims from the end of 2025 and 2026 during the ceremony, as well as names submitted or amended by families since the last ceremony, officials said…
