PORT CHARLOTTE — For decades, Lions Club members around the world have worked to help people improve their vision and prevent blindness.
Now, a new partnership in Charlotte County could help people — including many children — get the eye care and eyeglasses they need, but may not be able to afford.
The Port Charlotte Centennial Lions Club formalized a community partnership with Eyeglass Maxx of Port Charlotte. Club leaders said the partnership promises to “significantly improve access to essential eye care for residents across Southwest Florida.”…
