HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Carlton Wright, longtime Director of Bands at Alabama A&M University, is set to retire this June.
Wright is credited with elevating the university’s band program and leaving a lasting impact on campus. He has been a key supporter of the city’s Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Parade since it began in 2015.
