The Los Angeles Unified School District is nearing a deadline to reach an agreement with three separate workers’ unions to avoid a potentially devastating strike next week.
For the first time in district history, the LAUSD board is negotiating with three unions, United Teachers Los Angeles, SEIU Local 99 and the Administrators of Los Angeles, which represent teachers, support staff and administrators, KTLA’s Omar Lewis reported.
