A home abandoned nine years ago remains a problem in The Villages.
The home at 748 Artesia Ave. in the Village of Summerhill is currently owned by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The home was the subject of a deed compliance hearing Friday before the Community Development District 3 Board of Supervisors at Savannah Center.
Neighbor Henry Gawronswki complained about the condition of the home. He said the home has been a lingering eyesore in his neighborhood for nearly a decade.
