TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — New student housing developments continue to rise around Florida State University, driving growth in Tallahassee’s housing market while raising questions about affordability for students.
New apartment complexes are popping up across the city, especially near FSU, bringing in more students and attracting new businesses. Jacob Leoni, a real estate broker with Leoni & Sons LLC, said the growth is centered on student housing and has ripple effects for nearby commerce.
