IRVING, Texas — A traffic stop near MacArthur High School led to the seizure of a large quantity of narcotics and the arrest of a Florida man, Irving police said.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, when an Irving Police officer working in plain clothes observed a black Mercedes-Benz C-Class commit multiple traffic violations near N. MacArthur Blvd and Coker St. Police said the driver failed to stop at a stop sign, did not signal a turn, and ran a red light before another unit initiated a traffic stop in the 2900 block of North MacArthur Boulevard near W. Rochelle Road.
