Westbank woman shot after video shows her pointing gun at deputy pleads guilty

MARRERO, La. — A Westbank woman who was shot after video shows her pointing a weapon at a Jefferson Parish sheriff’s deputy last May has been sentenced.

63-year-old Paige Robin pleaded guilty to aggravated assault on a peace officer charges on Wednesday, court records show. She was sentenced to five years in prison with hard labor, but she will only have to serve one year.
