With the formation of a new government body covering some of the northern Front Range, a slice of Broomfield falls under a new district for conservation.
The new Mountain View Conservation District is one of about 70 conservation districts around the state, which “enhance the collective impact of those dedicated to stewarding today’s land and water for a better tomorrow through a collaborative approach to conservation,” according to a news release from the Colorado Department of Agriculture.
