ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Artemis II crew returned safely to Earth today after a 10-day mission to the moon, marking the first time humans have traveled to lunar orbit in more than half a century.
“We did it. We sent amazing people to the moon and safely returned them to Earth for the first time in more than 50 years,” said Lori Glaze, acting associate administrator for NASA’s Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate.
