HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – A lead vocalist and trumpeter with the Band of Oz passed away in an early morning traffic crash on Saturday.
Highway Patrol says 67-year-old Howard Douglas Winstead was driving northbound on Interstate 95 in Harnett County when his car rear-ended a gas tanker truck around 2:00 a.m.
