Senior housing gets boost in Onondaga County village: New apartments and dozens more renovated

Marcellus, N.Y. — A developer is proposing to spend $30 million to add 20 affordable senior apartments and renovate dozens of others in the village, according to village and state officials.

The new apartments would include one-and two-bedroom units in the new Marcellus Manor at 8 Paul St.

Lakewood also built the other two senior complexes involved in the project: Nine Mile Landing and Upper Crown Landing. Those are the apartments slated for renovations, according to state Housing and Renewal office officials…
