UW-Madison lab employee arrested after chemical found in campus office

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -A UW-Madison lab employee was arrested Tuesday evening after an investigation into an unknown odor at a campus research facility.

UW-Madison Police Department officers and the Madison Fire Department Hazardous Incident Team responded to a campus research lab Tuesday for a report of an unknown odor coming from items in an office. Evidence was collected and later tested positive for the presence of a chemical.
