A fatal crash on Interstate 40 in Lonoke Arkansas early Wednesday morning claimed the life of a Tennessee man.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the crash occurred April 8, 2026, at approximately 1:15 AM on eastbound I-40 near the 167 mile marker.
Authorities identified the victim as 36 year old Lazarus Itson of Memphis Tennessee. He was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle involved in the crash.
Investigators say the 2025 Peterbilt left the roadway and struck a group of trees. Weather conditions were reported as clear, and the roadway was dry at the time of the crash…
