Police use grappler to stop suspect in stolen Audi: CSPD

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported that during an investigation into a stolen Audi, detectives found a suspect driving the car, but he drove off when they tried to pull him over, making it necessary to use a grappler the next time police encountered the vehicle.

According to CSPD, on Wednesday, April 8, a gray Audi RS3 was reported stolen from the 1800 block of South Nevada Avenue, near Cheyenne Boulevard, and police began to investigate it. On Friday, April 10, at around 5:30 p.m., Motor Vehicle Theft Detectives found the stolen vehicle being driven by a man, who was later identified as 24-year-old Malik Caco.
